Sierra Nevada Estate Homegrown

Thursday night was at the monthly drinks night with my running team at Swift Hibernian Lounge. After really enjoying Sixpoint‘s new Sehr Crisp Pilsner, I checked out a Sierra Nevada I hadn’t heard of, the Estate Homegrown. It seems this is usually only bottled, so I guess I’m lucky to have found it on tap. It was delicious. It felt pretty light for an IPA, but it smelled and tasted as if it had fresh hops soaking in it. Seems it is actually wet-hopped. I enjoyed it so much that I had a second, instead of trying something else I hadn’t had. Must find a bottle….
